"Cal," Tony asks as they pull into his driveway, "anybody ever told you you drive like a maniac?"

"Damn, and here I thought I'd distracted you from distracting me."

"Not a chance," Cal assures him.

He shifts a little on the couch - his current position is making his back ache - but doesn't move just yet.

"So what's the plan?"

"Wouldn't you like to know."

Cal fiddles with the edges of the pillow.

"Yeah, no shit, Sherry."

Cal laughs.

"You know, I never really thought much about that saying before," he muses.

"What saying? The one I just made up?"

"Yes," Cal says dryly. "The one you just made up."

He allows himself to shift now, tucking one leg up onto the couch and turning himself to face Tony.

He snickers, but it doesn't seem to affect his Tetris game.

Cal considers, then throws the pillow at his head.

There are more where that came from.

Tony ducks.

"I thought I told you to leave me out of this," Obadiah says amicably, catching the pillow as it ricochets off the back of Tony's armchair.

Cal glances at him.

"Not my fault he ducked."

"Wasn't you I was talking to."

"Kiss my ass," he says, rolling his eyes.

"I can take that off your hands if you want," Cal offers, but doesn't actually move.

"Thank you," he says, leaning forward and extending the pillow with a conspiratorial grin.

"What, I'm supposed to move?"

Cal gives Stane a look designed to suggest that he is being boring. It's mostly for Tony's benefit.

"Have it your way." Obadiah sits back and tosses the pillow underhand at Cal's face.

That Cal was expecting, and catches it easily.

"That wasn't so hard, was it?"

Then he slings it at Tony again.

He ducks again.

He catches it again, though he has to reach farther this time.

Cal waits.

Expectantly.

"Why am I contributing to this?" he wonders, tossing Cal the pillow. Again.
